i got this tattoo about two years ago. it’s an original design that came to me when i was driving around late at night listening to music with my bestie kevin. we did that all the time. i chose the words true love because music is my one true love. it will never leave me, it makes me happy when i am sad, it keeps me warm, makes me feel safe, and it’s the one constant happy thing in my life. music is my everything.
this tattoo was done by terry grow at triple a in lafayette, la. he is so freaking talented. he took my design and made it perfect.

I got this tattoo simply because it is one of my favorite quotes from Harry Potter. I was inspired to get it after going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. I’ve grown up with the books since I was in 6th grade, when the first book was released. I’m 23 now, and I can say I still love the world created by J.K Rolling. I was sad when the final book was released, and now I’m sad to see the final movie. When I was younger I often wished that world was real, reading those books was a bit of escapism during a time that wasn’t so good in my life.
